RECERTIFICATION

If you are wanting to brush up on your dog training or re-certification for continued practice as a human-canine therapy team, you are welcome to attend our Re-Certification and Training days.

Recertification happens 12 months after your assessment/ initial certificate and is needed every 12 months. 

What to expect on the day:

1. Dog behaviour training – sit and drop step away, healing, long stay, recall on and off lead under-distraction
2. Trick training
3. Morning Tea
4.  Site Visits – for those attending for re-certification

RECERTIFICATION COST - $190.00 (inc GST) 

Please complete and update the application form you applied for Canine Assisted Therapy/ Canine Assisted Activities Course and email it to Karen at: info@therapydogsnsw.com.au 

Final payment is required at the time of booking. Non-refundable unless you have a medical/vet certificate. 

Morning and afternoon tea is provided, and facilities are available for lunch – fridge/microwave.  Please dress appropriately for dog training: comfortable sun-safe clothing, sunblock and hats and sunglasses and closed-in shoes. * Moderate fitness required.
