what type of training suits my needs?
At Therapy Dogs NSW we have different types of training. Therapy Dogs and Assistance Dogs serve different purposes.
Therapy Dogs: these dogs work with professionals in assisting others.
Assistance Dogs: are trained to work one and one with the person who needs assistance.
What if I change my mind?
We do not provide a refund if you change your mind, so please consider this before proceeding. You have until you receive your login to Moodle to cancel your application and if you have already paid, apply for a refund. Once you have received you Moodle login you can no longer obtain a refund.
Where are you located?
Our home base is in Tamworth in Regional NSW. We also run courses in Sydney at Castle Hill. Please check the calendar button below for dates on upcoming courses.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
- A Treat Pouch and Treats for training (if not treat inclined then a favourite toy)
- A Mat for the dog to lay on beside you.
- Lunch for the duration of the course ( morning tea and drinks are provided)
- Hat and Sunscreen
